Surely one of the most beautiful golf club in the world. Imagine a plateau at 1500 meters high overlooking the Rhone valley. Facing you the highest peaks, from the Matterhorn to the Mont Blanc. It is in this majestic setting that the pioneers built the first golf course in 1906. Since then, the greens have continued to flourish in the sun and the greatest players let themselves be conquered by the natural beauty of the site. Here, golf is in conquered territory, with 4 courses, including the famous 18 hole, named after its prestigious creator, Severiano Ballesteros, classified by golf magazines as one of the nicest in the world and host of the European Masters, a major event. As for the second course, the Jack Nicklaus, it was designated the most beautiful 9 hole course of Switzerland on several occasions.

The classic 18-hole championship Leuk golf course is in the Vale of Susten between Sion and Brig in the Canton of Valais. Playable for 9 months in the year, and modelled on the authentic links of Scotland, Leuk knows all about hard ground and undulating greens. The wind also has a role to play, fitting its “links course” description perfectly. The course is designed so that the tension mounts as you progress through the game. Although rather long at 6,109 meters, accurate play to ensure the ball lands well means that short-distance players also have a fair chance. If you want to meet the challenge of a links course, then you’re on the right road if you come to Leuk Golf Club.

The heritage of the Domaine Impérial Golf Club is exceptional and its history unique. The club house which has the footprint of the Napoleon family, offers members an exceptional location on the shores of Lake Geneva facing Mont-Blanc. The golf course which was designed by the legendary American architect Pete Dye, was inaugurated in 1987. The front 9 holes meander through a century old forest, where the Promenthouse, one of the lakes most prominent streams, provides a rich biodiversity of fauna and flora as well as a challenge for the players: The returning nine holes are more open but equally challenging due to the strategic placement of the Dye bunkering and framing of the historic Toblerone trail.
