Archipelago Lofoten is full of nature and light, and we are located at 68 degrees North. Steep mountains, white sandy beaches and small fishing villages with picturesque red shacks are just a part of what we can offer. It is easy to get to Lofoten from elsewhere in the country, both by air, sea and road. Flight time from Oslo is only two hours. Widerøe flies to Svolvaer and Leknes from Bodoe up to 7 times a day. There are daily ferries and catamarans from the mainland and Hurtigruten is calling at Stamsund and Svolvaer, north- and southbound every day. If your’re travelling by car, you can use Lofoten mainland connection. E-10 through Lofoten which is part of the concept of “National Tourist Routes”.

Lofoten Links is a spectacular 18-hole links course which is beautifully situated on the island of Gimsøya in Lofoten. The course is located by the seaside with an unobstructed view to the North and the midnight sun. Playing and walking the course is a grand experience where the ocean is a water hazard on several holes and sandy beaches act as natural bunkers.

From the end of May till the end of July, the sun never sets! Lofoten Links is one of the few courses in the world to offer playing golf in the sun for 24 hours, including up to 6 hours in the midnight sun!

From end of august until the end mid of October you can play golf at daytime and experiecen the Northern Lights at evning and night. Lofoten Links Lodges are one of the best Places to experience this Natural light show.
