Overview

Play Swedens most stunning links golf courses with dramatic views over the sea. These courses offer a spectacular setting and although they are not the easiest to play, they offer a great reward. Both are situated on the shoreline and bunkers are filled with the natural sand from the snow white beach which lines parts of the course.

You will stay in a small and cozy boutique hotel in the nearby fishermans town Skanör. The hotel offers fabulous views of the sea, a swimming pool, and one of the best restaurants in the region. A jogging on the beach in the morning is only a few meters away, and why not a sauna and a dip in the sea. You will feel refreshed and satisfied when you return from this trip.

A day trip to Malmö and Copenhagen is easily arranged to offer a bit of city life.

Falsterbo is one of the few true classic links courses in Continental Europe. It’s located at the southernmost tip of Sweden on the scenic Falsterbo peninsula, where the Öresund and the Baltic meet. Bird watchers flock to this designated preservation area to spot the migrant birds, so you may pick up more birdies here than you bargained for.

The club has hosted the PLM Open on the European Tour as well as the Skandia PGA Open on the Challenge Tour. It has also hosted many amateur tournaments such as the 1963 European Amateur Team Championship and the 2009 European Ladies Amateur Championship.

It was common for Falsterbo residents to work on the sea. A large shed in the ruff on the 18th hole was built to service the local fishermen.
